You’ve got to understand these guys have done all the hard Market Research themselves along with Keyword Research, etc so all you have to do is take it and improve on it.
Do not copy anything directly but there’s nothing wrong with improving things.
There are far too many poor Articles over at Ezine Articles that are just waiting to be improved upon and it is so easy to dominate with great content.
Look out for high page views along with a poor article.
Re work the keywords and article and produce a great article.
Ezine Articles is a great place to use for research and you should squeeze as much as you can out of it..

You might be wondering what the hell this blog post has to do with Internet Marketing and you’re probably thinking I’m going a little mad due to lack of sleep. You could be right..!!
Yesterday I took part in a very interesting thread over at the Warrior Forum.

The Thread was titled “Bum marketers: This term gets 2,019 daily searches”.
The term/keyword was “Which Brand of Popcorn Pops the most” and according to Wordtracker the term is searched 1615 times a day and has 1120 competiting sites over at Google.
This is great for all you Bum Marketers, Article Marketers, Squidoo Marketers, Blog Marketers and the rest of you that love longtail keywords.
This term was put on a silver platter and was put in front of many Savvy Warrior Marketers and was ripped wide open for some experimentation. The thread had been viewed 1600 times within 24 hours.
A squidoo lens turned up within the number 2 position within 24 hours of releasing the keywords. This just proves how powerful Squidoo is.
Loads of Bookmarking for the terms turned up. Everyone was doing some experimentation with the keyword.
I gladly lent a hand to the post and did some quick research for other relating terms and I uncovered some great keywords.
Me personally would of followed Tim Gorman’s Blueprint and would then flipped the site for profit after I’d had some fun with it. )Maybe I will when everything settles down with the terms and phrases)

When you submit to Article Directories a few things happen.
The people surfing these Article Directories are going to come across your article and read it and then click through your link.
Another great thing that can happen is a Ezine Publisher may come across your article and then publish it offering it to their subscribers which will also give your article more exposure.
Another great benefit of Article Marketing Submitting is that Google will index the article so it will show up in the Search Engines for the Long-Tail Keywords you use in the title. This also helps to build up backlinks to your site gaining more link juice to help your sites within Search Engine rankings.
This linking can help any site even sales pages gain good positions within the Search Engines.

Select an article from the previous task and submit it to as many Article Directories as possible within 2 hours. Also pick 1 Resource box to use from previous task.

I managed to submit to 15 Article Directories as follows -
Article Marketing generates a lot of traffic if done correctly and it’s a great way to warm up your traffic and generate hot leads.
When creating articles you need to be targeting long-tail keywords similar to the Keyword Task 1, Week 1
You need to create articles around these keywords and target highly searched keywords with low competing sites. (Under 20,000)
A lot of people give up after only writing a few articles. You have to keep churning out articles like a factory. You will soon get the hang of things once you’ve written 50+ articles.
When writing an article you have to create a great headline. You must include a benefit within the headline and provoke curiosity. Also a call for action works.
The long-tail keyword phrase must appear in the title for the search engines to pick up on it.
Also it helps the search engines if the keyword also appears a few times within the article body but the article must read naturally.
If you follow this structure you shouldn’t go too far wrong
Keyword in Headline
Keyword in 1st Paragraph
Keyword in Middle
Keyword in final Paragraph
Very important - The reader must be kept interested to read all of the article and actually reach the resource box without being put off by un-readable flowing content because of you keyword stuffing. Be careful and don’t over do the keyword insertion.
Now some people find writing articles difficult but a great way to write the article fast is to break the article down into easy manageable sections.
eg How to do something in 3, 4, 5 ways or 5 top tips. You get the picture. Concentrate on one tip at a time and you will be able to write the article much easier.
Now you must have a resource box in mind before writing the article because this is what you want the reader to click on in the end.
Tip - Write content first and edit last.
Task
Pick a resource box from the previous task and using the keywords from the very first task write as many articles as you can within 2 hours. Make sure the articles are 500 words minimum.
Enjoyed this task as I love to write articles.

A resource box is normally the body of text at the end of an article that has been submitted to an Article Directory. The resource box is an area you can put your link and call to action.
For example you would link back to your site to get readers to click through to your link.
Writing articles and submitting them to Article Directories is a great way to drive traffic to your site if done correctly.
The Resource Box has to be good enough to tease the readers to click though the link.
Why use Article Directories..?
Article Directories have very high Page Rank and Google loves these Article directories because of the constant new content.
Go and look at this example article for an example.
The resource box will be located at the end of the article.
The resource box should state at least one benefit and try and provoke curiosity.
Task Results
I am required to write as many resource boxes as possible within 2 hours.
You must treat a resource box like a headline, raise curiosity, and use benefits then hit with a call for action such as “visit”, “click”, and “go to”. The call to Action is to get a click on the link.
Within 2 hours create as many resource boxes as possible for the following URL’s
Keyword Research is very important to your business.You need to know what people are searching for within the search engines so you can give them what they want.
For a better chance of showing up within the first page in Google you need to be targeting Low Competing Page Keywords within Google.
Using the Free SEO Tools Keyword Tool you need to find Keywords with High Search engine searches and Low Competing results.
We want to be finding the so called “Long Tail Keywords” - Phrases or a sentance with 3 or more words.
For example - “Top 5 Intenet Businesses to make money online”
High Search Low Competition
Low Search Means less than 30,000 - 50,000 Competing pages when searching Google with speech Marks.
Instructions -
Within 2 hours using the SEO tool find as many Keywords with Low Competing Results (under 50,000 pages) within Google and high search results.

Finding a Low Competing Long-tail Keyword with High Search Volume - The idea here is to use one of the free keyword research tools available. Find a highly searched long-tail keyword that you will use in headline of article. They are really easy to come across but you need to link to your affiliate Product. Tip - Have a read through the Affiliate Sales page for ideas on keywords.
Write an Article Based on the Subject - Write an article on the topic. Try and naturally use the keywords you have chosen and keep the reader interested until the end of the article so they will want to click on your link.
Submit the Article to a Popular Article Directory - This is a simple process and doesn’t cost anything to do. There are hundreds of free Directories to use. Ezine Articles is the best to use. Search engines really like Article Directories so you have a very good chance of beating competition using Bum Marketing.
Point to Affiliate Products - Using a personal link that identifies you as an affiliate send readers over to the sales page. If the reader buys you get credited with the commission.
The idea behind Bum Marketing success is to write article after article targetting affiliate products and not to give up writing too early in the game. Keep on going and within a month or so you will start to see some great results.
Once results start flying in you can test different ideas out and abuse Bum Marketing to your advantage
