You might be wondering what the hell this blog post has to do with Internet Marketing and you’re probably thinking I’m going a little mad due to lack of sleep. You could be right..!!
Yesterday I took part in a very interesting thread over at the Warrior Forum.

The Thread was titled “Bum marketers: This term gets 2,019 daily searches”.
The term/keyword was “Which Brand of Popcorn Pops the most” and according to Wordtracker the term is searched 1615 times a day and has 1120 competiting sites over at Google.
This is great for all you Bum Marketers, Article Marketers, Squidoo Marketers, Blog Marketers and the rest of you that love longtail keywords.
This term was put on a silver platter and was put in front of many Savvy Warrior Marketers and was ripped wide open for some experimentation. The thread had been viewed 1600 times within 24 hours.
A squidoo lens turned up within the number 2 position within 24 hours of releasing the keywords. This just proves how powerful Squidoo is.
Loads of Bookmarking for the terms turned up. Everyone was doing some experimentation with the keyword.
I gladly lent a hand to the post and did some quick research for other relating terms and I uncovered some great keywords.
Me personally would of followed Tim Gorman’s Blueprint and would then flipped the site for profit after I’d had some fun with it. )Maybe I will when everything settles down with the terms and phrases)

Here is a great free tool for market research and can easily take hours of your efforts of by combining the power of Wordtracker and Google Trends into one tool.
The Wordtracker Gtrend tool looks very similar to the Wordtracker tool and if you look below you will see an example.
You need traffic when it comes to Internet Marketing and there are loads of different ways to get it. They all vary in their effectiveness and some of them will give you more on return for you time and investment.
You need to concentrate on the methods that give you more for your time.
One of the best ways to generate traffic and get more for your time and effort is to find JV’s and future affiliates who’ve already done all the hard work prior themselves.
These Potential JV partners would have already built up their own assets such as Squidoo Lenses, Blogs, Membership Sites, huge lists of leads, and have hundreds of articles written.
These people have taken time to do all the hard work and you need to go to these people and utilize their assets. You need to be able to tap into these marketers and offer something of value to take advantage of their assets.
You need to make sure the potential JV’s you select will have access to subscribers who would be interested in your type of market and products.
Use specific search terms such as “Make Money Online” and the top ten results in Google are probably good potentional JV partners as they’ve probably worked really hard to get a decent ranking.
When you find a potentional make sure you check them out and research in to them. You want to check what assets they might have and what type of subscriber they might have.
Do these sites have opt in lists?? (These are the people you are looking for)
Are they reviewing products on the site similar to yours..??
Do the sites have good alexa ranking..??
Do they have good search engine position..??
You need to investigate the site owner and work out if they are making money from their sites and that the sites are active and up to date.
Find the contact info/email and make note of it along with url and comments.
Task -
Step 1
Have a read through the website you’ll be finding affiliates for. This is listed under ‘task specifics’ below. Get a ‘feel’ for the site and create a list of 4 or 5 keywords that you find relevant to this particular site.
Step 2
Choose your favourite search engine and search for potential affiliates using your keywords. Compile a list of all potential affiliates.

We want to be finding the so called “Long Tail Keywords” - Phrases or a sentance with 3 or more words.
For example - “Top 5 Intenet Businesses to make money online”
High Search Low Competition
Low Search Means less than 30,000 - 50,000 Competing pages when searching Google with speech Marks.

Within 2 hours using the SEO tool find as many Keywords with Low Competing Results (under 50,000 pages) within Google and high search results.
