How to Start a Blogging Business

Wordpress Blogs are massive at the moment and everyone wants one.  There are plenty of products on the internet teaching you how to set up your own Wordpress Blogs and how to make money affiliate marketing or adsense marketing using Blogs. There are many directions you can go with all this Blogging business..!!

Now if you wanted to jump into this area then there sure is plenty of room in the market for you to come along and dominate within the market place.

The idea here is just to get you to open your eyes and to get you thinking along the lines of a Internet marketer. You can make a very good living out of the internet with the correct mind set..!!

Don’t you just hate it when you arrive at a Blog and it’s full of adsense and affiliate links and it’s clearly been set up solely for the reason to cash in on commissions. Yea sure we’ve all got our reasons for hosting our own Blog (Mine is to build a good relationship up with you guys) but these adsense sites don’t even make a good read half the time. You need to change this mentality if you want to make a living with blogs.

How to Start a Blogging Business

1. Learn the ins and outs of re-designing and installing a Wordpress Blogs and then offer your services on forums such as the Warrior Forum, Digital Point and Elance. You could quite easily make a nice income doing this and with the popularity of blogs is still increasing you could do quite well with this. There are loads of open source templates on the internet you can take and redesign. Just Google “free Wordpress themes”.

There are plenty of free resources online teaching you all about Wordpress (Google “Wordpress Forum”)

If you wanted to take this to the next level you could even learn how to build your own Blog templates and sell them for a tidy profit. Just check out some of the hot niches, design a template and sell on the ditialpoint forum. If you can sell a template for $150 then you can easily do 20 a month bringing in an extra $3000 a month. You could even outsource your work and get others to do it for you and you could still sell and make a tidy profit.

2. Have you heard of the term “Flipping Websites”?

Blog Flipping - Well this is a really popular area of interest at the moment and right it could. Silly sites are going for mega bucks. The idea here is to find a Blog template and customise it to be unique. Add content and get the site established and start generating traffic with article marketing, seo, etc. Then flip. 3. Set up a link building service. Website owners are always looking for extra links to improve their website in the search engines so this is a great extra income booster. Submit comments to blogs for people and join in with Blog carnivals to build up links. You could charge a recurring monthly fee of say $30 per month for 300 links to PR1-PR5. Imagine having 500 people join your service bringing you in $15,000 a month.

Now you might be wondering why on earth you would want to spend this entire time submitting links to blogs. You wouldn’t though would you. You would outsource the work while you sit back and plan you next marketing plan.

You have to look at the bigger picture to become successful on the internet. You could quite easily start a Blogging business that makes you a very wealthy income. Imagine getting it all set up with all the work outsourced so you don’t have to do anything apart from over look your business.

4. Set yourself a membership site up teaching Blog flipping along with design and programming a Blog. Your membership site could actually be a Blog platform and with the amount of plugins available you can drip content over time so you only have to check in on your members say twice a month leaving it all running on auto.

Imagine charging members $30 a month and having 500 members. Wow another $15,000 a month. Once you’ve got it all set up you could flip the site and maybe sell it for $300,000. Silly numbers I know but all possible with the right mindset. Makes you think hey..!!

Avoid Distractions

The key to being a successful Internet Marketer is Avoiding Distractions.

Distractions such as Forums, YouTube, Myspace, Facebook, etc. There are far too many distractions out their to slow your efforts down.

The most effective way to work is to write a To Do List at the beginning of the week for eack and every day and stick to the plan.  Spend a few hours a day finishing your To Do List off and then go and play.

Another great way to be more productive is to hit your To Do List way before you open your emails.

I know it can be hard some times but just give it a try.
