When it comes to writing sales pages you really have to keep the readers interested. One of the best ways to do this is by telling a story.
We’ve all grown up with stories and most of our lives revolve around them. You probably read newspapers, watch the telly and tell you friends stories each and every day.
If you can get the reader involved in a story rather than a hard sell you will find your sales page conversions go through the roof. It is so much easier to understand something whilst being told a story. You can relate to the story and become emotionally involved.
Remember back at school sitting down listening to the teacher read you stories and how much you concentrated and wanted to hear the happy ending. Well this is the same. Play on these emotions. Tell a story that makes the reader want to find out that happy ending.
There is a great copywriter called Vin Montello who has been labeled as “The Storyteller Seller.” Most of his clients have seen double digit conversions. In some cases converting 32%… 53%… 63%. He really knows how this story telling works!
These are crazy conversions and can really change your sales. Just a 1% increase in sales conversions can be a massive increase in sales so take this very seriously.
Vin Montello has a free guide available called “Seven Story Secrets That Skyrocket Sales” (You don’t need to opt in or anything like that, Just right click and choose Save As)
He really knows how to tell stories and this is someting you need to see. I don’t benefit by sending him an extra traffic. To be honest he doesn’t even need to extra work. He’s always fully booked up. I’m sharing this great report with you so you benefit and see those conversions go up!

Good post, Ross, In fact that was going to be my first niche, how to write well. You seem far more advanced than most of us, there are a lot of things I still don’t understand but you seem to have a good grasp of it all. I shall keep reading! Thank you for sharing.
Mandy
Great post Ross –
I must admit the thought of writing a great sales page is the stuff of nightmares right now. Copywriting is just another of those things on my To-Do list – and since the mania of the BFM feeding frenzy this afternoon, I think it’s even further down the list!
Thanks for the link – I’ll check it out!
Great blog and I like the clean theme!
